PRO SURFING @ CHIKURA
With a very busy schedule today, I had to get up and get out of the house very early to catch some of the JPSA action in Chikura. It was good to see some of the boys and all were ripping. The level is getting higher and higher each and every year here in Japan and I’m happy that I was fortunate to be a part of that push. While I was there today, something deep inside of me was wanting to put on a jersey. It was probably just the long left handers that needed some love.

DAY OFF
Wake up at 4 am, drive to Chikura, take photos of the warm up session and quarter finals of the mens JPSA Chikura Pro, go to the hospital and hang out with Mahina, come home and eat lunch, watch my good friend live on line win his first ever pro event, lay down with Hani chan for an afternoon nap, and finally upload photos. A PERFECT DAY OFF!
KAMOGAWA STATION
Not the biggest station around, but it’s only a 2 minute walk to the surf!
ARTISTIC SIDE
A little here and a little there, I’ve always enjoyed doing some kind of art. Painting surfboards, etching glass, design and photography are some of the things I like working with. It’s a good mind relaxer, but at the same time, a way to exercise the creative side of the brain. I just got some new tools so I’ll be doing a few of these mirrors for some very special people. A L O H A !
