BUT THEN I MOVED TO HAWAII USA AND I HAD NO WAY OF GETTING WEETBIX BUT I FOUND THIS OTHER BRAND CALLED WEETABIX SO THEY PUT A (A) IN BETWEEN THE T AND B TO BYPASS COPYWRITE LAWS AND HERE I AM – I LIKE WEETBIX AUSTRALIA BETTER BUT THIS WEETABIX ADVERT BLOWS WEETBIX OUT OF THE WATER AS FAR AS MARKETING.

BUT KEEP IT REAL

This weekend flew by! Two days of Shadow Wars– an event I throw to give back to the Bboying community every year. With Prototype, Hawaiian Airlines and Redbull as the main sponsor, the winner got a roundtrip flight ticket to compete in the main Shadow Wars event in Australia! Things were pretty heated when the final came down to J-Live and Jeff Wong with Jeff coming though for the chance to represent all the Hawaii Bboys down under.

Contrary to the youtube video with the guy doing windmills flinging the baby in the air, bboys and bboy events are pretty family oriented and baby friendly. There are kids from all ages and families that come to these events and it really makes me smile to see parents fuel their kids with such a neat culture at such a young age. Phe MY SON even got to kick it with his girlfriend Calypso who is a total badass, while her bboy daddy and brothers took turns watching her in between dancing. Man, I wish my parents could’ve taken me to dance events while growing up instead of dragging me to Pearl Harbor and Hanauma Bay every weekend to memorize fish names because clearly that got me no where.
