Marching to America

first thing i come home, i crave this Taiwan Tea.

Coffee or Tea? i order the milk tea smoothie with boba. remember that and you won’t be disappointed!

the full moon last night looked like fire in the sky! it’s crazy because i saw the full moon in Nagoya one night, then the full moon in Hawaii the next night. thank you for jet lag!

when ever i come home, i like to eat a simple first meal. healthy and tasty…

from the ocean to my mouth. thank you Yamari for the amazing shirasu!

did you hear about the thousands of people leaving Guatemala and ElSalvador? they are marching right through Mexico and straight to America. i’ve been through all 3 of those countries and i’m predicting a war to break out. President Trump said he will call the military but it’s hard to win a war fighting people that have absolutely nothing to lose.

the closer and closer they get to the US border, my eyes will be on the news.

this is pretty serious. half those guys probably have weapons and will not go down without a fight. i just hope it ends peacefully…

Long Sushi Journey…

flying out of Okinawa is like flying out of Hawaii. breathtaking views as i started my long journey back home…

but first had to stop off for lunch. yes, you guessed it right. Unagi!!!

i’m not an unagi lover, but once in a while, i love it. and when i do, Ginza is the place to be.

Yamari sent me a fat bag of goodies!

so packed it up and continued my journey back to Hawaii.

if you travel like me, you better be ready to change airports at any minute. or any second at times. but no worries because Japan has the best transportation system in the world.

headed to Nagoya airport right into the sunset.

but had to check out his sushi restaurant Misaki-san recommended to me. and boy it was amazing!

gosh, i just love this kind of style. and this is the reason you will never ever find me in Genki Sushi back in Hawaii.

yes, fatty tuna is my favorite! sipped some hot tea and made it to the airport. boarded and with my good luck, a 1 year old baby sitting next to me was crying all the way back to Hawaii. i couldn’t sleep but it’s ok.

went home, grabbed my foil, and foiled into the sunset. glad to be back home but maybe not for long…
