{"id":100431,"date":"2019-04-02T06:36:22","date_gmt":"2019-04-01T21:36:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=100431"},"modified":"2019-04-02T06:36:22","modified_gmt":"2019-04-01T21:36:22","slug":"snappers-on-the-rocks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=100431","title":{"rendered":"Snappers On the Rocks!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100427\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Screen-Shot-2019-04-02-at-6.06.54-AM-663x370.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"370\" \/>\u00a0on this trip, Tony and I didn&#8217;t even plan to surf. \u00a0in fact, we didn&#8217;t even bring any surfboards. \u00a0but when we woke up on day 1, we couldn&#8217;t resit. \u00a0so headed to the surf shop to rent boards. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100429\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Screen-Shot-2019-04-02-at-6.07.27-AM-663x371.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"371\" \/>\u00a0then we met a cool Italian guy that offered us a ride to the beach.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100428\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Screen-Shot-2019-04-02-at-6.07.16-AM-663x368.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"368\" \/>\u00a0this is what i love about traveling. \u00a0just meeting surfers from all over the world that just love to surf.\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100430\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Screen-Shot-2019-04-02-at-6.07.46-AM-663x372.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"372\" \/>\u00a0Tony hasn&#8217;t been here for over 30 years. \u00a0and it&#8217;s my first time to the Gold Coast so everything is pretty new to us. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100432\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Screen-Shot-2019-04-02-at-6.09.15-AM-663x367.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"367\" \/>\u00a0we got our boards and headed to the contest site, Snapper Rocks. \u00a0nobody was out at the point so we jumped in and tested it out.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100423\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Screen-Shot-2019-04-02-at-6.09.48-AM-663x371.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"371\" \/>\u00a0the reason nobody was out is because the waves were breaking over the rocks. \u00a0so we literally surfed on Snapper Rocks! \u00a0look at Tony go over the reef on his rental board. \u00a0haha&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100424\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Screen-Shot-2019-04-02-at-6.11.00-AM-663x375.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"375\" \/>\u00a0as for the water, it&#8217;s warmer than Hawaii, clean, emerald, and so refreshing. \u00a0no need for a wetsuit.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100420\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Screen-Shot-2019-04-02-at-6.12.25-AM-663x372.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"372\" \/>\u00a0after our surf, we were walking back to our hotel when we stumbled upon a foil shop?
