good morning. 6:30am thursday morning. small waves all over today. ah… now i can relax and not think about surfing. got so many things to do today so stay off the road because i’m driving. have a nice day….

\ngarut’s going to be on tv today across america. check him out on fuel tv’s the Daily Habit airing today, October 16, at 9:00 pm Eastern Time (6:00 pm Pacific Time) and telecast three additional times. good job garut. oh, can somebody tape it for me please???

\nok, it’s out. the new surf1st magazine ran the main article of our past okinawa trip. 24 pages. a trip i will never forget. why? because i had to write the story. not asked too, told too. haha… it was a couple of days till the deadline when i got the call from kinsan saying “you write the story”. he asked me before but i said no because i was too dam busy having fun. so he gave me 2 days to write the story and i just figured i’d write it like a blog. i usually take a few weeks to write a big story like that but this one, i pretty much did in one day. and now that it’s out, i’m glad i did it…. why? because it was my true honest feeling about okinawa and the people. it’s called “Dream Away” and that’s pretty much what i do when i’m there….

\nsurf1st editor akai-san called me and told me that it’s the best story he’s ever read in his editorial career. that makes me freakin happy. especially because i just whipped it out. i thought it was kind of half\/ass but now after i read it again, i wrote everything from deep down inside. so half\/ass or not, that’s my true feelings of okinawa and will always be. go grab a copy and check it out because that’s probably the last article i will ever write for a surf magazine. i’m just too busy “Dreaming Away”…..
