{"id":100674,"date":"2019-04-10T16:49:17","date_gmt":"2019-04-10T07:49:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=100674"},"modified":"2019-04-10T16:49:17","modified_gmt":"2019-04-10T07:49:17","slug":"chinese-surfers-paradise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=100674","title":{"rendered":"Made in China Surfers Paradise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100679\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/IMG_3706.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0when Peter King and i were setting up the board, something very interesting happened. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100677\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/IMG_3725.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0a couple of Chinese people came up to us and started talking about the foil. \u00a0come to find out, they own a big factory in China that makes surfboard leashes. \u00a0and now, they want to start making foils too. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100676\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/IMG_3722.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0they got out their camera, took photos, and i bet you in a few months, you will see go-foil knockoffs. \u00a0but instead of paying $1,500, it would probably only cost you $300. \u00a0isn&#8217;t that crazy? \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-100675\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/IMG_4024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0i walk around in the morning and see magic mushrooms everywhere! \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100678\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/IMG_4025.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0please don&#8217;t put these in your morning omelet. \u00a0haha.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100684\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/IMG_4034.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0when i told my friend Matt that i free dive, he said &#8220;OMG, i have to take you to my friends factory right now!&#8221; \u00a010 minute later, we were at his friend Ray&#8217;s carbon fin factory. \u00a0come to find out, Ray knows so many world wide divers i know too. \u00a0such a small world! \u00a0maybe next time i come to Australia, i can go free diving! \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100680\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/IMG_4033.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0walking in there was like walking into a candy store. \u00a0i&#8217;d be an upset kid if i left there empty handed. \u00a0 look at these beautiful custom fins! \u00a0this will cost twice as much in Hawaii!<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100681\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/IMG_4035.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0so i picked up my dream blades. \u00a0it&#8217;s Madam Pele! \u00a0can&#8217;t wait to use her! \u00a0thanks Ray at Diver Fins, Australia! \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100682\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/IMG_4038.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0then stopped by to grab a very healthy Acai Bowl with lilikoi!<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-100685\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/IMG_4041.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0then went to get a super good Chinese foot massage. \u00a0a massage and a nap at the same time?
