{"id":101597,"date":"2019-05-11T16:05:47","date_gmt":"2019-05-11T07:05:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=101597"},"modified":"2019-05-11T16:05:47","modified_gmt":"2019-05-11T07:05:47","slug":"lost-in-translation-gakunmae-or-wakayamadaigakumae","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=101597","title":{"rendered":"Lost in Translation:  Gakunmae or Wakayamadaigakumae???"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-101602\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_4705.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0i arrived at Kansai Airport. \u00a0planned to meet Kimura-san at the station in-between the airport and his house. \u00a0he texted me the station name Gakuenmae so jump on a train and head to the transit station to switch trains. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-101598\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_4706.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0i was riding over the Kansai Airport bridge enjoying the beautiful view. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-101599\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_4703.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0then i get to Izumisano where i was to get another train to Wakayama. \u00a0i ask the train staff how to get to Gakuenmae station where Kimura-san texted me to meet him. \u00a0the girl looks at me a little confused and says &#8220;next train on platform 2.&#8221; \u00a0so that&#8217;s where i waited. \u00a0the train comes and i get on&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-101601\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_4704.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a010 minutes later, something seems wrong???
