\"\"\u00a0ok, got some photos off my gopro. \u00a0it seems like our first foil day was years ago. \u00a0luckily photos never get too old…\"\"\u00a0we pull up to the lineup and see a foil surfer in the water. \u00a0 really??? \u00a0the guy had his private boat towing him into big waves. \u00a0really??? \u00a0so the friendly guy i am goes up to him and says “hey mate, how’s it going!” \u00a0we start talking as he was glad to see us. \u00a0you see, foilers love foilers. \u00a0anyway, the guy says “grab the rope and give it a go.” \u00a0i say “what? really? \u00a0ok!” \u00a0haha. \u00a0\"\"\u00a0i grab the rope as it’s my first time towing in on the foil board. \u00a0half of me was stoked and the other half of me was holding on for my life. \u00a0\"\"\u00a0the boat man tows me into the most amazing first wave. \u00a0i was screaming like a little kid on a Disneyland ride! \u00a0\"\"then Tony grabs the rope and gives it a go. \u00a0i’m foiling on the side filming the whole thing. \u00a0it was the coolest thing ever. \u00a0i can’t believe we’re foiling in Bali!\u00a0\"\"in Bali, there is so much rubbish in the ocean. \u00a0the water is clean, but there is plastic everywhere. \u00a0but foiling and plastic don’t mix. \u00a0i kept on falling down when i ran over a plastic bag. \u00a0yuck…\u00a0\"\"\u00a0but once i’m back up, life is good again. \u00a0to all my family and friends in Hawaii, us boys are living our dream lives right now. \u00a0my friend text me to say that the South Swell in Hawaii is going off. \u00a0i didn’t even reply because that’s the very last thing on my mind right now. \u00a0\"\"\u00a0hanging out with Kelia, Seth, Tony, my Brother, and other friends here in Bali has been amazing. \u00a0this was one of my big dreams when i started traveling 30 year ago. \u00a0and finally those days have come! \u00a0\"\"\u00a0luckily we’re here with Jeff Cantrel who is a photographer. \u00a0he was on our boat capturing the peaceful moments. \u00a0check out the next few photos. \u00a0here is Tony Moniz the legend foiler! \u00a0\"\"\u00a0Peter King is the funniest guy you’ll ever meet. \u00a0get him on the foil and he’s even funnier. \u00a0how cool is this shot? \u00a0\"\"\u00a0i paddled out without a top and paid the price. \u00a0jellyfish and sea lice stings all over my body. \u00a0 scratching all night so couldn’t dream about foiling. \u00a0haha…\"\"this day was Tony’s as he got the best rides and best photos. \u00a0i want to thank the foil for bringing me so much closer to this true Hawaiian legend. \u00a0it’s like 35 years ago when we use to surf together every day on the North Shore. \u00a0now, we’re flying together in Indonesia!!! \u00a0oh and yeah, we’re actually here to support Seth. \u00a0forgot about him. \u00a0haha….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
