{"id":101836,"date":"2019-05-21T18:07:13","date_gmt":"2019-05-21T09:07:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=101836"},"modified":"2019-05-21T18:07:13","modified_gmt":"2019-05-21T09:07:13","slug":"bali-2019-highlights-keeping-it-simple","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=101836","title":{"rendered":"Bali 2019 Highlights:  Keeping it Simple"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-101837\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_5210.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0now that my Bali trip is over, here are some of our highlights. \u00a0massages has to be on the top of our lists as between the 4 of us boys, we must have had a combined hundred massages from various places. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-101838\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_5214-e1558417811952.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" \/>\u00a0my favorite has to be Reborn. \u00a0a 3 hour massage for $22. \u00a0you really feel reborn when you leave here. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-101845\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_5179-663x497.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"497\" \/>\u00a0another highlight was watching my good friend Mike Woo&#8217;s dream come true. \u00a0yes, shaping boards for Kelly Slater is any shapers dream. \u00a0congratulations Mike! \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-101841\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_5216.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0for our food highlight, it was the secret local spot on the harbor. \u00a0if it wasn&#8217;t for our driver Yasin, we wound&#8217;t know what we were eating. \u00a0and we would have probably paid 5x more. \u00a0he was the negotiator&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-101842\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_5220.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0if you were in Bali, you probably would have bumped into us Hawaii boys because we were everywhere! \u00a0haha. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-101839\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_5223.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0the first time i went to Bali and ate with my hand, i was culture shocked. \u00a0now, i love to eat with my hand because you can mix up the food better and it also tastes better. \u00a0just please wash your hands before you try this. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-101840\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_5219.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0fresh clams right out of the harbor in front. \u00a0so good!<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-101843\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_5224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0Yasin was the happiest because he told me this kind of food is his favorite. \u00a0now it&#8217;s ours too!<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-101844\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG_5226-e1558417800776.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" \/>\u00a0we had some very fun and interesting conversations during this trip. \u00a0right after we took this photo, our conversation turned into politics. \u00a0and once the subject of Donald Trump came up, we almost got into a fight. \u00a0not with other guys, but within ourselves. \u00a0haha&#8230; \u00a0thanks Donald Trump for bringing out the fire in the boys&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-101848\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Screen-Shot-2019-05-16-at-5.09.08-PM-663x388.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"388\" \/>\u00a0my biggest highlight was foiling with Tony. \u00a0we did it in Australia, now in Bali, and who knows where it&#8217;s going to be next. \u00a0we are the 2 youngest kids on the WCT tour. \u00a0thank you Seth. \u00a0haha!
