\"\"\u00a0i was so happy to take Oikawa-san out for his very first surfing experience. \u00a0he’s 54 years old so i asked him why he decided to surf. \u00a0he told me that his surfer son recently told him “Dad you have to experience surfing at least once in your life.” \u00a0 so that once was today! \u00a0\"\"\u00a0Oikawa-san was very nervous like normal, but he popped up perfectly on this very first wave of his life! \u00a0then all the nerves went away. \u00a0it was amazing! \u00a0\"\"\u00a0these are the smiles i love. \u00a0words can’t describe how stoked it feels after an amazing ride! \u00a0\"\"\u00a0then it was perfect ride one after the other. \u00a0we ended up on the outside catching sets. \u00a0all i heard \u00a0this morning was “fun, happy, and one more!” \u00a0haha…\"\"\u00a0then went for a poke bowl! \u00a0thank you Oikawa-san for the wonderful morning. \u00a0after coming to Hawaii 17 times, you finally experienced Hawaii as a surfer. \u00a0i want to thank your son for encouraging you to go for it. \u00a0i’m sure i’ll see you in the water again…\"\"\u00a0Ono Seafood combo choices #1 and #7. \u00a0you can’t go wrong…\"\"\u00a0\u00a0it’s been pretty dam hot this past week. \u00a0these kind of temperatures are unheard of in June. \u00a0and it’s only going to get hotter from now. \u00a0thank goodness for the cool trade winds… \u00a0and thank goodness for my favorite Teapresso Bar! \u00a0the black sugar milk tea is the best way to cool down! \u00a0\"\"\u00a0then i went for an afternoon session with Mai-chan!\u00a0\"\"Seth asked me for one of my secret fishing spots. i told him where to go on his jetski, and i told him to take his biggest lure. \u00a0i wonder how he did???<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
