\"\"\u00a0back to the food at the Nakamoto’s. \u00a0Todasan first in line…\"\"\u00a0Kyle and Cathy just got back from Alaska for a fish\/dive trip. \u00a0they caught butterfish and you won’t believe how good it was! \u00a0the best butterfish i’ve ever tried! \u00a0\"\"\u00a0and it went good along with the Molokai kalbi. \u00a0\"\"\u00a0and acid-free fresh pineapple from Papa Crow’s garden. \u00a0this was super sweet and juicy! \u00a0\"\"\u00a0yesterday we ate some spicy seafood noodle soup. \u00a0this is pretty amazing! \u00a0\"\"\u00a0when we paddled out to Diamond Head, i told Nakahodo-san to take his time and keep calm. \u00a0the reason for that is because i saw solid 6′ sets and it wasn’t a longboard day. \u00a0my friend can’t believe he even made it out. \u00a0haha. \u00a0\"\"\u00a0Nakahodo-san caught a wave from the very outside and rode it all the way past me to the inside. \u00a0so i got the perfect sunset photo! \u00a0\"\"\u00a0look how beautiful it was!!! \u00a0so cool!\"\"\u00a0we came back up and watched the hurricane send more and more lines. \u00a0there were only 5 local shortboarders and long boarder Nakahodo-san out. \u00a0it’s pretty funny because when the waves are small, there is lots of ego’s and aggressive surfers in the lineup. \u00a0but when it gets big like this, everybody seems like they have something else to do. \u00a0my local friend out there said “i wonder where everybody is?” \u00a0haha…\"\"\u00a0after laughing about getting such perfect waves every single day, my friend gave us 2 ice cold Big Wave beers! \u00a0the timing couldn’t have been any better! \u00a0\"\"\u00a0then to Whole Foods for a healthy meal. \u00a0\"\"\u00a0i seen this guy on the table with his own rice cooker and hot pot. \u00a0he was using all the plates and utensils from Whole Foods and eating his homemade meal right there. \u00a0i looked at him and said “you’re classic!” \u00a0he said “you support corporations, i support local farmers.” \u00a0that was pretty funny, and also pretty true…\"\"he even plugged in his rice cooker to Whole Foods electric outlet. \u00a0haha. \u00a0his meal was looking pretty dam good too! \u00a0 i’m sure this wasn’t the first time he’s done this…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
