\u00a0huge surf and kind of dangerous too. \u00a0took the boys out for the challenge of their lives! \u00a0these are the days you get the ride of your life! \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-103390\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Screen-Shot-2019-07-15-at-1.17.59-PM-663x437.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"437\" \/>\u00a0we paddled out to Big Right&#8217;s and out here is locals only. \u00a0it&#8217;s been this way for the past 40 years. \u00a0the order in the lineup is rock solid and if you try to break the system, it will break you. \u00a0that&#8217;s why i love it out here! \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-103391\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Screen-Shot-2019-07-15-at-1.18.21-PM-663x387.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"387\" \/>\u00a0i only wait for the biggest and best waves when i surf out here. \u00a0so i told Shoda-san &#8220;when you see me paddle for a wave, drop in and you&#8217;ll get the ride of your life!&#8221; \u00a0look at Shoda-san taking off on this huge set! \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-103392\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Screen-Shot-2019-07-15-at-1.22.10-PM-663x414.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"414\" \/>\u00a0this is one happy man! \u00a0want to thank Garret Sugihara for giving Shoda-san a set wave too. \u00a0he was so happy to get a wave from a local! \u00a0anybody would be happy&#8230;\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-103393\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Screen-Shot-2019-07-15-at-1.22.47-PM-663x402.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"402\" \/>\u00a0after a few waves, Shoda-san figured it out. \u00a0just sit a little inside of me, then when a big set comes, drop in and i&#8217;ll get the shot! \u00a0just like this!!! \u00a0 one of the local boys said &#8220;wow, that&#8217;s cool!&#8221; \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-103394\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Screen-Shot-2019-07-15-at-1.22.56-PM-663x398.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"398\" \/>\u00a0there is no other way to get a set wave at Big Right&#8217;s if you&#8217;re a Japanese tourist. \u00a0this is the only way. \u00a0haha&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-103388\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Screen-Shot-2019-07-15-at-1.23.37-PM-663x426.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"426\" \/>\u00a0thank you Shoda-san and Hatta-san for a surfing with me at Big Right&#8217;s on Big Sunday! \u00a0and on his very first wave, his leash came off. \u00a0haha. \u00a0keep calm Yano-san!\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-103396\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Screen-Shot-2019-07-15-at-1.27.56-PM-663x414.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"414\" \/>omg, we scored! \u00a0today was one of the most exciting days in a while. \u00a0i forgot how good it feels to surf big waves, i forgot how good it feels to get barreled, and i forgot how happy surfing makes me feel. \u00a0tomorrow i&#8217;m putting away my foil and getting out my surfboard quiver!
