\"\"Round 1: \u00a0Arai-san on day 2 Boot Camp. \u00a0after the other big day, today was super easy for him. \u00a0yes, it was bigger but when you’re calm, you will surf good no matter what.<\/p>\n

\"\"Arai-san hasn’t surfed waves this big before. \u00a0big and barreling! \u00a0 how cool is this photo?<\/p>\n

\"\"then coming out and doing an off the lip! \u00a0one of my friends was paddling out and said to me “wow, you should have seen how happy he was at the end of that wave.” \u00a0haha.<\/p>\n

\"\"Round 2: \u00a0then Hattori-san tested out the short board. \u00a0it’s been a while so it was pretty exciting.<\/p>\n

\"\"a few good waves, and a few hundred duck dives. \u00a0the waves wouldn’t stop pumping!<\/p>\n

\"\"then went to pick up Seira-chan. \u00a0yeah, she’s back! \u00a0first stop, boba milk tea! \u00a0haha.<\/p>\n

\"\"welcome back girl! \u00a0i’m super excited to surf with you for the next 45 days. \u00a0you’re going to be at a professional level by the end of this Boot Camp!<\/p>\n

\"\"Round 3: \u00a0then surfed with Tokuda-san this evening. \u00a0super cool guy that loves the ride!<\/p>\n

\"\"Tokuda-san asked me “how many surfer friends do you have?” \u00a0i told him “about a thousand. \u00a0why? how many do you have?” \u00a0he said “four.” \u00a0 i told him “well, now, you have five!”<\/p>\n

\"\"Tokuda-san was a little scared of big waves. \u00a0so i took him to big waves because this is how you overcome your fear. \u00a0i taught him how to dive under sets and this is absolutely perfect! \u00a0now he’s not scared anymore. \u00a0simply done…<\/p>\n

\"\"Seira-chan was out ripping. \u00a0last time she came to Hawaii, it was cold, raining, and flat the whole time. \u00a0this time will be much different. \u00a0perfect weather and big swells on the horizon…<\/p>\n

\"\"last time Seira-chan came to Hawaii, she met Kelia on her very first day. \u00a0this time, same thing! \u00a0i couldn’t believe how lucky this girl is! \u00a0Kelia was so happy to see her too! \u00a0and Seira-chan also got to see a crazy fist fight in the parking lot too! \u00a0so lucky!<\/p>\n

anyway, i surfed 3 rounds totaling 6 hours. \u00a0still 8:30pm and didn’t eat dinner. \u00a0so i’m tired, and very grouchy. \u00a0 better stay away from me. \u00a0haha. \u00a0goodnight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
