\"\"i took a drive down to Kuta early in the morning to avoid traffic. \u00a0 i can’t believe how much Legian street has changed…<\/p>\n

\"\"i stopped by the Ground Zero Memorial where the Bali Bomb was set off by terrorists back on October 12, 2002. \u00a0that was exactly 17 years ago where many lives has changed. \u00a0202 people from over 22 nationalities died that night.<\/p>\n

\"\"this is where the Sari Club use to be. \u00a0a club my friends and i use to end up every single night when we stayed in Kuta. \u00a0so yeah, i’ve been there more than a hundred of times with all the boys having a great time after getting barreled all day. \u00a0it was full of happy memories and lots of drunk people having a great time \u00a0it was the most popular club during that time and if you went to Bali in the 90’s, i would have probably seen you there. \u00a0anyway, at midnight on a very busy night, a terrorist parked his truck right in front of the club and blew it up…<\/p>\n

\"\"the empty lot is still there with just a few plants growing in front. \u00a0i don’t know if they ever will, or should rebuild there. \u00a0it’s a very strange feeling when i pass there and kind of hard to explain. \u00a0mixed emotions with deep chills to the bone. \u00a0just the fact that it could have happened to any one of us…<\/p>\n
