at their house that was in the family for generations and generations. \u00a0it was their first time spending that precious time all together on the island where there roots go back hundreds of years&#8230;\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-106819\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_9931-663x474.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"474\" \/>\u00a0the Moniz Boys are well respected Hawaiians, caring, loving, and also so very kind. \u00a0i love these boys. \u00a0these photos where taken by Joe Termini at a very sacred fishpond&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-106810\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_9943.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0since Takahashi-san was coming to Hawaii, i took a few days off for an island getaway. \u00a0and since the waves are small and the winds are gone, it&#8217;s perfect for Mayuki to take us there. \u00a0 so i loaded up and got ready.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-106811\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_9947.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" \/>\u00a0since there is no supermarket on the way, we have to buy and take everything for the next few days. \u00a0it&#8217;s fun shopping and planning. \u00a0the rest is up to the ocean to provide us with meals&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-106812\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_9948.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" \/>\u00a0loaded up 2 wagons and finally were done&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-106813\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_9949.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0started off with the drinks cooler. \u00a0then i have another cooler for vegetables, and another one for meat. \u00a0we will be eating very good&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-106816\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_9954.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0then went to fill up gas because there are no gas stations on the way either. \u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-106814\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_9958.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0watched the sunset sipping on a cold beer. \u00a0this is paradise!<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-106815\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_9962.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0then came in and the sky was still lit up orange. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-106817\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_9963.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\u00a0then a quick Mexican dinner. \u00a0had to sleep early because it&#8217;s going to be a very long weekend ahead. \u00a0taking our dive gear, fishing poles, flashlights, and of course, surfboards. \u00a0just going with the flow and see where Mother Nature
