\"\"Boot Camp day 2 for Tanaka-san. \u00a0every time we surf, i can see so much more confidence and so much more happiness. \u00a0it’s unbelievable that she only surfs when she comes to Hawaii. \u00a0\"\"and today was a special day. \u00a0Seira-chan was out so i introduced them. \u00a0it’s funny that Seira-chan had no idea who Tanaka-san was, but since Tanaka-san translates my blogs, she knew Seira-chan very well. \u00a0\"\"we were watching Seira-chan surf so good. \u00a0i think that gave Tanaka-san some inspiration because when the next big set came, she wanted it! \u00a0\"\"i yelled “GO” and this wave was BIG! \u00a0this is what you call commitment! \u00a0\"\"perfectly ridden and perfectly calm. \u00a0i was so stoked to see Tanaka-san doing so good! \u00a0\"\"Seira-chan told me she caught over 30 waves this morning. \u00a0so stoked to see her enjoying Hawaii to the fullest!!!\"\"the waves were big so i taught Tanaka-san how to go under the sets. \u00a0throw the board, dive under, and enjoy the ride. \u00a0haha…\"\"both these girls were happy to meet each other. \u00a0both can inspire each other in their own way. \u00a0then grow into great surfers and great people!!!\"\"then\u00a0went to eat lunch with the whole Tanaka-san family. \u00a0we always have a great time! \u00a0\"\"thank you Chiyoko-san and the Tanaka-san family for the goodies! \u00a0since i can’t go to Japan for a while, i’ll enjoy Japan right here in Hawaii!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
