\"\"\u00a0since yesterday at 4:30pm was the “stay home” deadline, i thought i’d go out for a ride. \u00a0i left at 3pm to see the transformation…\u00a0\"\"passed by Diamond Head and it was big and windy. \u00a0\"\"then passed by Bowls and it was big and perfect! \u00a0our first South Swell of the year! \u00a0\"\"passed by Kewalo’s and it was closed.\"\"drove though Waikiki and i would always be stuck in this intersection with traffic. \u00a0not anymore…\"\"driving down Kalakaua Street was so weird. \u00a0there were no people and no cars. \u00a0almost every shop was closed. \u00a0kind of freaky!\"\"one thing i’m happy about is nature will have a break. \u00a0with no businesses operating, the dolphins can rest. \u00a0the turtles and whales can rest too and not worry about boats and thousands of tourists chasing them everyday of the year. \u00a0nature will become nature again…\"\"parks can take a breath too. \u00a0in this case, Ala Moana Beach park is fully closed.\"\"as for me, i’m prepared. \u00a0the government says to stock up on 14 days of food and supply. \u00a0all i need is my speargun and fishing pole and i will survive for more than 14 days, i will survive forever. \u00a0so yeah, i went to get Mayuki prepared. \u00a0if i’m quarantined, i will be here floating around in the ocean somewhere. \u00a0\"\"and of course, i had to stick a couple of surfboards in there too. \u00a0haha. \u00a0one for me, and one for a surf buddy. \u00a0this might be the only way to access the surf in the near future. \u00a0i’m ready for anything!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
