{"id":110591,"date":"2020-04-02T14:25:07","date_gmt":"2020-04-02T05:25:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=110591"},"modified":"2020-04-02T14:25:07","modified_gmt":"2020-04-02T05:25:07","slug":"hawaii-real-estate-downturn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=110591","title":{"rendered":"Hawaii Real Estate Downturn?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-110592\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/IMG_3915.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>i wake up at 3:30am, exercise, check the waves, and decide where to get my surf session in. \u00a0when i leave my house, it seems like i&#8217;m the only one on the road?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-110593\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/IMG_3917.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>felt like being in totally peace and connecting with ocean. \u00a0so went to look for a place to exercise. \u00a0and it wasn&#8217;t that hard to find&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-110594\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/IMG_3919.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>i now that the whole world has less pollution now, including Hawaii. \u00a0less cars, less boats, and less everything. \u00a0a huge positive for the world&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-110595\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/IMG_3925.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>once i got out into the ocean, i knew exactly where the best waves would be. \u00a0surfed until i was completely satisfied. \u00a0that took only 40 minutes&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-110599\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/IMG_3929.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>seen a cruise ship outside the harbor. \u00a0if i were stuck on one, i know i&#8217;d jump into the ocean and swim in. \u00a0then probably get arrested, but i&#8217;d rather sit in jail then on a ship stranded like that. \u00a0i feel so sorry for the people that are stuck&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-110596\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/IMG_3933.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>after i surfed, i was craving fresh fish so pulled up to one of my spots and caught dinner. \u00a0i&#8217;m so grateful for the ocean&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-110600\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/IMG_3903.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>i&#8217;m guessing this is the start of the downturn of real estate industry in Hawaii. \u00a0the Chinese aren&#8217;t coming and outbidding locals anymore, activity is slowing down, and uncertainty is up in the air. \u00a0nobody is buying now and i wouldn&#8217;t either&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-110601\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/IMG_3904.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>as Waikiki sleeps, when will this be over? \u00a0nobody knows&#8230; \u00a0so my advise is to stay home, exercise, keep healthy, keep happy, and most of all, keep calm. \u00a0when this is over, let&#8217;s all rethink on how to start up again. \u00a0hopefully in a positive manner while taking care of nature. \u00a0because if anybody is happy now, it&#8217;s Mother Nature&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>i wake up at 3:30am, exercise, check the waves, and decide where to get my surf session in. \u00a0when i leave my house, it seems like i&#8217;m the only one on the road?
