{"id":111652,"date":"2020-05-30T05:07:53","date_gmt":"2020-05-29T20:07:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=111652"},"modified":"2020-05-30T05:07:53","modified_gmt":"2020-05-29T20:07:53","slug":"supporting-local","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=111652","title":{"rendered":"Supporting Local"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-111650\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/IMG_5230.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>since i went to the North Shore, i stopped by my favorite place. \u00a0Surfers Coffee! \u00a0due to the lockdown, it was completely empty&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-111651\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/IMG_5232.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>this place use to be very popular so it was kind of sad to see it barely surviving. \u00a0i went there because Nao-san sent me a gift card from Japan so i can support her favorite place too. \u00a0thank you Nao-san! \u00a0the Tiger Spice Chai Tea was amazing! \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-111653\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/IMG_5231.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>and whenever i go to Surfers Coffee, i gaze at the poster on the wall of Tony Moniz at Pipeline. \u00a0one of the best photos of Pipeline ever&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-111655\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/IMG_5228.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>then wanted to support local even more so headed to buy local eggs. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-111654\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/IMG_5229.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>now i just drive up and the staff puts the eggs in my car. \u00a0i bought 5 carts so that&#8217;s 150 fresh eggs!<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-111649\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/IMG_9125-663x442.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"442\" \/>Donald and i pulled up to this spot. \u00a0one of the locals was in the parking lot and said &#8220;there is a big shark in the lineup so everybody just came in.&#8221; \u00a0wow, good timing! \u00a0i told the local &#8220;there are sharks here everyday dude.&#8221; \u00a0then i paddled out, surfed by myself while Donald watched.&#8221; \u00a0Donald never came out and when i was driving home, i was wondering if he didn&#8217;t want to come out because of the shark?
