{"id":112519,"date":"2020-07-19T14:15:00","date_gmt":"2020-07-19T05:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=112519"},"modified":"2020-07-19T14:15:00","modified_gmt":"2020-07-19T05:15:00","slug":"boat-trip-training","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=112519","title":{"rendered":"Boat Trip Training&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-112521\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/IMG_6076.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>the boys have been sending me the weather report all week. \u00a0they said &#8220;uncle, no wind on Friday.&#8221; \u00a0i said &#8220;really?&#8221; \u00a0usually i check everything and decide everything so this time, i said &#8220;ok, i&#8217;ll trust the boys and let them make all decisions.&#8221; \u00a0but i knew there will be wind on Friday. \u00a0haha. \u00a0anyway, they showed up 30 minutes early because they know i&#8217;m not waiting. \u00a0it&#8217;s my way of making sure these guys are prompt&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-112522\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/IMG_6082.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>loaded up Mayuki and left Waikiki at 4:30am. \u00a0driving in pitch dark, then watched the sun slowly rise. \u00a0it was so beautiful.\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-112523\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/IMG_6089.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>Seth is smart. \u00a0he knows to take the front seat because it&#8217;s the best view ever.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-112524\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/IMG_6090.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>Benji and Joshua relaxing in the back. \u00a0smiling the whole way&#8230;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-112526\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/IMG_6102.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>took us 4 hours of battling the windy channel, but we arrived at our destination safely. \u00a0i told the boys &#8220;what happened to no wind on Friday?&#8221; \u00a0haha. \u00a0but they know not to look back and only to look forward so they geared up. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-112525\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/IMG_6159.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>our goal for the first dive was to be selective and focus on dinner. \u00a0good job boys.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-112520\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/IMG_6155.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>like i said, before i would do everything for these kids. \u00a0now they can do everything on their own. \u00a0so i just watched from the side a very proud uncle. \u00a0Joshua filleting and getting ready the fresh sashimi for dinner.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-112527\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/IMG_6192.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>when the boys were diving, i went into their cooler and found this!
