\u00a0they are dredging the dirty Ala Wai Canal. \u00a0they dig it up, put it on that barge, tow it out to sea, and dump it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-112878\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Screen-Shot-2020-08-07-at-6.33.32-AM-663x401.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"401\" \/>it&#8217;s a big and very expensive project. \u00a0but in the end, hopefully Bowls will be a cleaner place to surf.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-112877\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Screen-Shot-2020-08-07-at-5.45.26-AM-663x417.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"417\" \/>there&#8217;s a lady out at Diamond Head that&#8217;s been yelling at everybody. \u00a0some of the guys call her &#8220;Karen.&#8221; \u00a0right in front of us, she yelled &#8220;foilers are assholes!!!!&#8221; \u00a0i told her in a very nice voice &#8220;yes, some foilers are assholes. \u00a0but some longboards are assholes too. \u00a0in fact, there are assholes everywhere.&#8221; \u00a0then she said &#8220;i&#8217;ve been surfing out here everyday this past winter!&#8221; \u00a0then i replied &#8220;hey aunty, i&#8217;ve been surfing here for over 30 years. \u00a0i live 5 minutes away.&#8221; \u00a0then i heard a voice saying to me &#8220;Kirby, silence is golden&#8230;&#8221; \u00a0opps! \u00a0so i kept quiet, the lady went in, and we had a blast!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-112874\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Screen-Shot-2020-08-07-at-5.38.27-AM-663x395.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"395\" \/>i pray to God that no man calls us foilers assholes in front of this guy they call Kaiborg. \u00a0i would be very scared for that guy&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-112875\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Screen-Shot-2020-08-07-at-5.45.05-AM-663x429.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"663\" height=\"429\" \/>i finally got the perfect foil shot of Uncle Brian! \u00a0at 70 years old, he&#8217;s having the most fun out of everyone. \u00a0all we do is talk story, laugh, and foil&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>you guys been wondering what&#8217;s being going in and out of the Ala Wai channel?
