aloha, i still can\u2019t sign into my blog but found a way to sneak posts via my iPhone.  and since i don\u2019t like typing on my iPhone, i\u2019ll keep it short.   first of all, waves been good.  foiled early morning at Diamond Head and it was super good.  no wind, not too many people, and endless rides.  seems like people are getting back to school and work so crowds have calmed down.  thank goodness!  <\/span><\/p>\n

Hawaii just announced that there will be no quarantine for Japanese tourists coming to Hawaii.  what do i think about it?  well, you can come to Hawaii but don\u2019t forget there is still a 14 day quarantine when you get back to Japan.  so unless you have a very long vacation, i\u2019d wait a little while more.  but if you do decide to come, it\u2019s pretty amazing here.  it feels like our island just took a long 9 month breath and everything is becoming natural as it use to be.  it\u2019s pretty cool to experience something like this in my lifetime.  and if you decide to come, just be respectful.  wear your mask, social distance, and just follow the rules we are all following.  some tourists from the mainland aren\u2019t wearing masks, and aren\u2019t social distancing.  it\u2019s pretty sad to see that and it\u2019s just plain disrespectful.  so i understand locals getting mad.  so yeah, just act like how you would want people acting if they\u2019re visiting your country.   simple\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

North shore season started already.  big swells on the way with perfect conditions.  weather is changing so lots of calm mornings and onshore afternoons.  beautiful sunrises and sunsets at this time of the year.  water temperature is still 82 degrees (28C) which is crazy.  i haven\u2019t worn a wetsuit since March of this year.  finally we have some cooler nights and last night was the first time i used a blanket since March.  i love this time of year\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

our website should be fixed by tomorrow so i\u2019ll post all the photos i\u2019ve been taking.  slept<\/span> <\/span><\/span>6:30pm<\/a><\/span> <\/span><\/span>the other night which was my record.  haha.  woke up<\/span> <\/span><\/span>at 2am<\/a><\/span> <\/span><\/span>which is also my record.  feeling great here and i hope you all are too.  keep thinking positive and keep healthy and happy.  when this is over, we\u2019re going to be stronger than ever.  better surfers, better foilers, and simply better people.  now we know a little more what\u2019s important, and what\u2019s not.  so appreciate what you have which is a life.  and take some steps forward and maximize it.  <\/span><\/p>\n
