Costco just removed a popular coconut milk from its shelves. \u00a0the reason is because some animal activist group said that the company Chaokoh used monkeys for forced labor. \u00a0what??? \u00a0\u00a0they say that it\u2019s not ethical to have monkeys climb up trees to pick coconuts. \u00a0is it really animal cruelty??? \u00a0i\u2019ve been to many countries and actually seen monkeys picking coconuts, and i think that is brilliant. \u00a0it\u2019s not only brilliant, it\u2019s hundreds of years of tradition. \u00a0\u00a0if you were a monkey, what would you rather do? \u00a0pick coconuts in nature while getting exercise and getting fed ripe bananas? \u00a0OR, would you rather be sitting in a cage at the zoo 24 hours\/day 365 days\/year watching kids making funny faces while throwing rocks at you? \u00a0\u00a0you know what my answer would be. \u00a0so what\u2019s next? \u00a0i could go on and on about how animals are getting way more abused. \u00a0and if you can honestly tell me that none of the activist in that group ever ordered a pony ride for their kids birthday party? \u00a0what about that poor pony? \u00a0or took their kids to the zoo or Seaworld? \u00a0what about the poor animals and dolphins? \u00a0that is way worst!<\/p>\n

in my opinion, if you don\u2019t believe in something, it\u2019s ok. \u00a0nobody is forcing you to buy that coconut milk from Costco. each country has their own traditions using animals to make life easier, and we have to learn how to accept it. \u00a0just because it is unethical in one country, that doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s in another. \u00a0so can all the haters stop trying to control the world? \u00a0i really feel sorry for the people in third world countries trying to make a living. \u00a0animals are used for many different types of labor and that\u2019s pretty smart. \u00a0if it\u2019s cruel, i can understand. \u00a0but monkeys climbing up trees to get coconuts? \u00a0that\u2019s pretty cool!<\/p>\n
