\"\"as the coronavirus gets worst, the question now is “when can we all travel again?” \u00a0as of today, this is what i think. \u00a0first, as an American, i still can’t go to Japan so that’s out. \u00a0Bali is on my radar because they are accepting American travelers if you get a visa. \u00a0i heard it’s one of the best times to go to Bali because it’s empty. \u00a0i would love to drive around Kuta with no traffic, and love to surf Keramas with only a few guys. \u00a0the only risk about going to Bali is the government is unpredictable. \u00a0if they decide to go into lockdown again, you can literally get stuck there for months. \u00a0and since there aren’t any direct flights from Hawaii, you can also get stuck in another country while on transit. \u00a0that’s a double gamble…<\/p>\n

\"\"as for Hawaii, it’s totally safe here. \u00a0i actually think it’s the best time to be here if you haven’t experienced Hawaii with no tourists. \u00a0lots of shops and restaurants are still closed, but there are still lot’s of places open. \u00a0i went shopping at Kahala Mall today and it was totally empty. \u00a0i felt like i was the only guy in the mall, and almost all shops were open. \u00a0as for the beaches, the crowds thinned out because there are waves on all sides of the island. \u00a0and the best thing is even though Hawaii goes into another lockdown, you will have time to get back to your country. \u00a0there is no way our government will shut it down in a day. \u00a0you still need a negative coronavirus test to come, but that’s easy.<\/p>\n

so for now, that’s my update on traveling. \u00a0i’m still stuck here but i’m not complaining. \u00a0i see some tourists starting to come back, and i don’t blame them because i would come to Hawaii too. \u00a0i feel like this is the safest place in the world to be right now. \u00a0we have strict rules, the coronavirus is somewhat under control, and there is still lots of aloha. \u00a0so to all my Japanese friends, now is the time!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
