yesterday, i woke up early and was thinking about foiling knee high Ala Moana. \u00a0next thing you know, i was heading out to the North Shore to foil big waves with the boys. \u00a0for the past 3 months, i’ve been training everyday physically and mentally for this. \u00a0last year, Kaiborg told me to be ready so when he called, i was 100% ready. \u00a0i just wished he called me on a smaller day. \u00a0haha.<\/p>\n

each jetski cost $25,000 when it’s set up like this. \u00a0these guys only have the best so i felt confident going with the best on the best. \u00a0i knew i was in good hands and with guys that would risk their lives to save mine.<\/p>\n

towing into big waves is Kaiborg’s world. \u00a0he knows everything and is one of the most experienced waterman in the world. \u00a0so when he’s teaching me, i’m listening very carefully. \u00a0getting taught by a waterman like him is priceless. \u00a0no amount of money can buy you experience like this…<\/p>\n

i watched Kaiborg go first, then when it was my turn, i just focused and tried to copy and connect. \u00a0but once i got to speeds like i’ve never felt before, i disconnected and fell on my chest. \u00a0you’re going so fast that the water surface is like concrete…<\/p>\n

gosh, what i learned in one day was amazing. \u00a0most importantly, i learned that the ocean is more beautiful than i ever thought. \u00a0i was screaming joy like a kid on every single ride! \u00a0i bet the boys were laughing at me. \u00a0haha…<\/p>\n
