{"id":11643,"date":"2012-02-10T05:39:07","date_gmt":"2012-02-09T20:39:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=11643"},"modified":"2012-02-10T05:39:07","modified_gmt":"2012-02-09T20:39:07","slug":"one-m5-day-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=11643","title":{"rendered":"ONE M5:  Day 3 Morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>i found this in my diary.  i forgot to post it on day 3 of We Are One mission 5.  reading it again makes me wonder when everything will be ok again.<br \/>\nNov 7, 2011  5:39am<br \/>\ngood morning. i&#8217;m up wide awake at 5am in this little hotel in ishinomaki.  i had a much better sleep than last night because sleeping next to a bear snoorer (toda-san) and puppy snoorer (matsu) is totally different.  i&#8217;m still super jet lagged but my stomach is finally feeling better from my food poisoning incident. been getting lots of emails about the radiation.  yes, it&#8217;s still in the air.  the strongest so far was on the freeway passing through fukushima.  up here in ishinomaki, it&#8217;s only reading .08.  we will circle oshika hanto today, then drive back to fukushima tonight.  tomorrow morning, we will be in minami soma to meet with the mayor and get an update.  i will send radiation level readings and i hope it&#8217;s lower than the last time.  i heard school is back in progress there and the kids are allowed outside only for a few hours a day.  things are moving kind of slow here in tohoku.  it seems that the uncertainty of rebuilding near the ocean, or rebuilding where radiation levels are high is what&#8217;s holding everything back.  our human consumption for electricity is what brought all the nuclear plants around the world.  are they safe?  if you think so, build your dream house near the Daiichi Nuclear plant in Fukushima.  save electricity, and lets look for other ways to generate it.  i&#8217;m getting kind of frustrated because i know the radiation is still at high levels, and i know that people are living in these areas.  i better sign off before i say something i might regret.<br \/>\nbut in the meantime, keep on supporting japan.  things are far from over.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/photo-12.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/photo-12.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11644\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nHey Azumi-san,<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s always nice to see you.<br \/>\nI&#8217;m glad your back surfing in other parts of Japan and when you all decide it&#8217;s ok to go back in the water in Ishinomaki, please let me know because I would love to surf with you. and so would everybody else on our ONE team.  Thanks for sharing your secret spot dvd yesterday.
