the only heats i watched for the Olympics were the finals for the Women’s medals. \u00a0the conditions were challenging but every competitive surfer has to be ready for anything.<\/p>\n

to me, the biggest story was Japan’s Amuro Tsuzuki. \u00a0 she was the underdog and beat some of the best surfers of the world to take the Bronze Medal. \u00a0this girl has confidence and surfs good!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

when it comes to the Olympics, i cheer equally for American and Japan. \u00a0if either wins, i feel like i won. \u00a0my nationality is Japanese\/American so these surfers make me proud to be both.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Carissa Moore was favored to win so i’m not surprised she won. \u00a0this girl is one of the most competitive, confident, and talented surfers in the world. \u00a0not too many men can do maneuvers like this.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

i had chicken skin because Carissa didn’t only win for American, she won for Hawaii!<\/p>\n

what an amazing moment in surfing history…<\/p>\n

Carissa will now take surfing mainstream in America. \u00a0i wouldn’t be surprised if she gets sponsorship contracts from huge companies like Rolex and Mercedes. \u00a0her gold medal will make her an instant multi millionaire. \u00a0and she deserves every penny of it…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
