i filled out this card and went to one of my good friends funeral. \u00a0sitting at the chapel listening to one of his friends telling stories about him was very emotional. \u00a0our friend was one of our best buddies, a husband, a father, and has passed away way too soon. \u00a0i met him in college, traveled with him to Japan, spent countless nights in bars, clubs, and football games. \u00a0he was the light of the party and would always make us laugh. \u00a0i still can’t believe he’s not here anymore…<\/p>\n

a bunch of my good buddies got together for a drink after the funeral. \u00a0we celebrated his life how he would have wanted us to. \u00a0drank beers, took tequila shots, told jokes, teased each other, and laughed out loud. \u00a0we went to the very same bar where we would always get asked to leave because we made too much noise. \u00a0we stayed until closing and luckily we didn’t get kicked out this time. \u00a0we had fun, but we really missed his presence. \u00a0 at the end of the night, reality sets in. \u00a0this guy wasn’t supposed to die yet. \u00a0it makes you realize how life can get cut so short unexpectedly. \u00a0i’m very sad, but at the same time, i’m happy to have met such a wonderful person who made my life so much more better. \u00a0i think about the good times we had and all i can do is laugh. \u00a0i will surely miss you brother. \u00a0 until we meet again. \u00a0cheers…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
