{"id":120327,"date":"2021-10-15T11:06:39","date_gmt":"2021-10-15T02:06:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=120327"},"modified":"2021-10-15T22:21:52","modified_gmt":"2021-10-15T13:21:52","slug":"ala-menta-wai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=120327","title":{"rendered":"Ala-Menta-Wai"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-93665\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/IMG_7685-600x800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p>34 years ago, i was taught by Tony Moniz to that in order to be a great surfer, you have to be able to surf every spot on this island. \u00a0and ever since then, i&#8217;ve been doing that. \u00a0so after a week straight at Bowls, i decided to listen to my coach and surf somewhere else. \u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-93666\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/IMG_7687-800x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>i jumped on Mayuki in the dark and headed out for an early morning session somewhere out in the sea. \u00a0i had no idea where i would end up&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-93662\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/IMG_7703-800x461.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"461\" \/><\/p>\n<p>i paddled out in the dark and couldn&#8217;t see much. \u00a0but when the sun came up, i realized how good the waves were.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-93663\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/IMG_7699-800x419.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"419\" \/><\/p>\n<p>i jumped back on my foil and did a lot more and a lot bigger turns then i did all week on my short board. \u00a0omg, i was flying!<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-93661\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/IMG_7700-800x438.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"438\" \/><\/p>\n<p>imagine riding a 10&#8242; wave on your surfboard and doing a roundhouse cutback. \u00a0that&#8217;s how it feels when i&#8217;m riding a waist high wave on my foil. \u00a0it&#8217;s pretty amazing!
