{"id":122268,"date":"2022-06-14T05:24:38","date_gmt":"2022-06-13T20:24:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=122268"},"modified":"2022-06-13T11:38:02","modified_gmt":"2022-06-13T02:38:02","slug":"go-to-surf-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/?p=122268","title":{"rendered":"Go to Surf City"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-99043\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_5259.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1907\" height=\"1125\" \/><\/p>\n<p>back to yesterday again before i forget about yesterday again. \u00a0the waves were small but if you have the right board, it&#8217;s not really small anymore. \u00a0this is one of most magical small wave boards i&#8217;ve ever owned. \u00a0it will make the worst days feel like the best.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-99044\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_5260.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"342\" \/><\/p>\n<p>i enjoy watching everyone trying out different surfboards and connecting to it. \u00a0if you properly learn the basic fundamentals of surfing, you should be able to ride anything.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-99045\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_5262.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"335\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and each board works differently so you better keep calm and get ready for the excitement!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-99042\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_5258.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1382\" height=\"789\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and when you find that magic board, you better keep it forever&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-122269\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_0388-640x427-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" srcset=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_0388-640x427-1.jpg 640w, https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_0388-640x427-1-600x400.jpg 600w, https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_0388-640x427-1-630x420.jpg 630w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>the WSL is now in El Salvador. \u00a0they are having the event at this spot called Punta Roca. \u00a0they call it the South America Jeffery&#8217;s Bay because the waves are very similar to South Africa&#8217;s Jeffery&#8217;s Bay. \u00a0 when this spot was still a secret to the rest of the world, i took an overnight flight from Hawaii and landed right into waves like this. \u00a0it was perfect and only a couple guys out. \u00a0 I caught wave after wave until my legs couldn&#8217;t push anymore. \u00a0very long rides and a nice barrel section. \u00a0i&#8217;d have to say that Africa&#8217;s J-Bay is a way better quality wave, but not having to worry about freezing cold water and huge great white sharks is fine with me. \u00a0haha. \u00a0anyway, after this WSL event is over, Punta Roca will never be the same. \u00a0surf camps, hotels, and thousands of surfers will head to El Salvador&#8217;s Surf City!
