which was right in front of Sunabe Main point. \u00a0we would always start there on our first beers after surf. \u00a0then we would end up at Hard Reef until the morning hours. \u00a0even though i don&#8217;t remember too much, i definitely was in a very happy place.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-101543\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/IMG_3193.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/p>\n<p>the sunsets at the Sunabe seawall were spectacular. \u00a0we would end up there every single night no matter what. \u00a0that was our meeting place.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-101546\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/IMG_9150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>then right around the corner was Hayama. \u00a0i would order the pigs feet soup with extra pigs feet. \u00a0excellent for the hangovers.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-101548\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/IMG_6677.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/p>\n<p>when Sunabe was small, this is what it would look like. \u00a0instead of surfing, i would sit on the wall, drink a cold Orion beer, and watch the free entertainment.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-101544\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/m11220090807121742.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>then when it got big, only the big wave boys would go out. \u00a0i always wondered where the small wave guys use to go?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-101549\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/IMG_9013.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/p>\n<p>luckily i knew all the locals at Sunabe so they gave me some of the best waves of my life. \u00a0when they said &#8220;GO,&#8221; \u00a0i &#8220;WENT!&#8221; then when the tide got too low, we use to still sit on the wall and enjoy the Okinawan lifestyle in shorts and bikinis&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-101547\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirby\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/vol4cover-565x800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"565\" height=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Omine-san use to let me stay at his guest house that was right in front of Sunabe Main. \u00a0i took this photo from my balcony. \u00a0it was &#8220;HEAVEN ON EARTH.&#8221;
