omg, Naomi-san told us were to eat the best maguro in Japan. \u00a0we trust her 100% so we went there the next day for breakfast. \u00a0right when we parked the car, i saw a guy transporting the freshest and brightest sashimi i’ve ever seen.<\/p>\n

then we entered the classic traditional fish market and checked out the daily catch. \u00a0i’ve been to many fish markets in Japan including Tsukiji, but this one was my favorite because it was so local. \u00a0i was the only tourist in there.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

you walk around and can choose any type of seafood you want. \u00a0then they either cook it for you, or prepare it for you.<\/p>\n

this lady cut us a very nice piece of maguro which was our breakfast.<\/p>\n

this was my early morning breakfast. \u00a0the sashimi was only $6.70. \u00a0i couldn’t believe it after the first bite melted in my mouth.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

there are 3 different sections in the maguro so each tastes different. \u00a0my favorite is the o-toro on the right. \u00a0omg, it just melted in my mouth! \u00a0anyway, the rice and miso soup was an extra $2.60 which made this amazing meal under $10. \u00a0just one of those pieces would cost over $10 in Hawaii. \u00a0it was so good that we went back the next morning. \u00a0and i can’t wait to go back again!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
