What’s a wet market? \u00a0Up until 3 years ago, I always thought a wet market was a dirty stinky market in Third World countries that was always wet. \u00a0I believed it because every time I left, my slippers and feet were so slimy, sticky, and stinky. \u00a0But even thought I didn’t like walking through one, I would always end up there at the end of the day eating dinner. \u00a0I just loved to experience what the locals ate. \u00a0This particular one was in Cambodia. \u00a0Would you eat that? \u00a0I did and it tasted like some kind of a little skinny bird. \u00a0More bones then meat. \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

I’m not sure if I’m even supposed to post photos like this but since this is reality, there should be no surprises. \u00a0I still remember the smell passing through this wet market. \u00a0It smelt like death which I’m not use to. \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

This might not look delicious to you, but it sure is to people that are hungry. \u00a0When traveling to local wet markets where no other tourist go, you will see dishes like this. \u00a0And it really makes you realize that absolutely nothing goes to waste. \u00a0So I give them credit for that. \u00a0I was pretty hungry this day but I had to pass up on this dish. \u00a0When you’re there it actually looks edible, but now looking back at this closeup photo, I don’t think I’m that brave.<\/p>\n
