I’ve been waiting for this! \u00a0The sakura is blossoming everywhere. \u00a0Just in a day, the all the trees on the mountains are full bloom! \u00a0The past 2 days, I drove over 9 hours in and out of the mountains. \u00a0Ever corner I was in awe of the beauty. \u00a0And the cool thing is hardly anyone is around. \u00a0This is the most beautiful season I’ve ever experienced. \u00a0 \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

Walking along temples and enjoying the rich culture of Japan. \u00a0Taking it slow step by step and breath by breath. \u00a0I’m so happy that my life has finally slowed down so much that I can appreciate things a lot more. \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

I’m in the wild mountains. \u00a0And in the wild mountains are wild animals. \u00a0 I was walking up a path and could feel something looking at me. \u00a0I look up and there were these cute deer. \u00a0 I don’t think I can eat deer anymore. \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

Meanwhile back home in Hawaii, I got a text at 1am in the morning. \u00a0Bright lightning, thunder, hail, and the craziest weather. \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

Overlooking Ala Moana, she said the lighting bolts were lighting up the sky. \u00a0I told her to sit back and enjoy the beautiful show! \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

I wasn’t expecting to surf on this trip. \u00a0But after 11 days of being out of the ocean, I couldn’t resist. \u00a0Thank you Sakabe-san for encouraging me to surf. \u00a0If it wasn’t for you, I would have never paddled out. \u00a0You’re a super kind local and I want to thank you for sharing some waves with me. \u00a0I feel reborn!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
