Another very low tide morning. \u00a0It was shallow, but the waves were super good!<\/p>\n

I watched this movie called “WHIPLASH” today. \u00a0I had no idea what it was about but as I watched it, I was kind of laughing to myself. \u00a0The reason, is this teacher was very strict, almost as strict as me. \u00a0Haha. \u00a0Well, a lot more to be honest. \u00a0He had this discussion with his student and his words were very powerful. \u00a0“I was there to push people.” \u00a0Yes, I can relate.<\/p>\n

“beyond what’s expected of them.” \u00a0 Yes, I can relate.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

“And I will never apologize for how I tried.” \u00a0Yes I agree. \u00a0I’ve made grown men cry, I’ve made young girls cry, and I’ve gotten into heated arguments. \u00a0I have absolutely no regrets because my ultimate goal is always to push my students past their limits. \u00a0Limits they don’t even know exist within themselves. \u00a0So yeah, \u00a0I might have apologized, but from now on, I won’t. \u00a0Haha.<\/p>\n
