It’s been day 4 and the waves have been big and pumping every single day since we arrived. \u00a0Our typical day starts with the morning surf check. \u00a0The only way for the surf report here is to go to the beach and look for yourself. \u00a0Surfline doesn’t work here.\"\"<\/p>\n

Yoyo’s has been pumping everyday. \u00a0So big that it’s almost out of control. \u00a0Yesterday morning I saw a couple ridable ones and nobody was out surfing. \u00a0I went to paddle out to get a couple and when I got closer to the wave, it was way bigger than I thought. \u00a0Took off on a couple waves holding on to my life with my 5″10. \u00a0There’s no room for error and nobody will come out and save you here. \u00a0So you’re basically on your own. \u00a0The is what I live for. \"\"<\/p>\n

After lunch, we drove around looking for waves and found this empty spot. \u00a0Just our group having the time of our lives. \u00a0I’ve been traveling around the world surfing with Tokura-san for 31 years, and it only gets better. \u00a0It’s now my dream to be surfing as good as him when I’m 74 years old. \u00a0I’m totally inspired. \"\"<\/p>\n

And watching Matsu foil was beautiful. \u00a0Flying past me like a bird made me want to foil again. \u00a0After those 2 amazing seasons, I went back to my room to get a nice massage. \u00a0I was in my massage feeling so relaxed when I get a text from Kimura-san. \u00a0I open it and got a good laugh. \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

This was the first photo. \u00a0Haha. \u00a0I couldn’t stop laughing. \u00a0Tokura-san isn’t just the coolest surfer in the world, he has a great sense of humor. \u00a0Now you know what us kids are doing between surf sessions. \u00a0Haha. \u00a0I was laughing so hard that my massage masseuse thought I was weird. \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

Then the next photo Kimura-san sends me was this. \u00a0Hahaha. \u00a0I was laughing even harder. \u00a0I couldn’t stop laughing so I had to end my massage right then and there. \u00a0There went my relax time. \u00a0Haha.<\/p>\n

Traveling keeps us all young and energetic. \u00a0It’s part of our lives. \u00a0It’s part of our soul. \u00a0Without it, we’d be empty….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
