 it was so dark and cold today.  i felt like i was in the middle of winter in japan or something.  it was freezing cold for me and there was no way i was going in the water today.  not after freezing my ass off all day yesterday with a full suit on.  i think this is the coldest winter ever recorded in hawaii.  both air and water temperature&#8230;[:???:][:???:][:???:]<br \/>\n<a href=\"files\/20090128123922.jpeg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/20090128123922.jpeg\" width=\"315\" height=\"420\" alt=\"\"><\/a><br \/>\nwe were up at the ilikai hotel on the 44th floor.  the view was freaking amazing.  bowls was perfect&#8230;  someday i hope to have a million dollar view like that everyday&#8230;.<br \/>\n<a href=\"files\/20090128124238.jpeg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/20090128124238.jpeg\" width=\"315\" height=\"420\" alt=\"\"><\/a><br \/>\nala wai yacht harbor is for members only.  and members we were today.  it feels so good to be special.  and the food was so dam good&#8230;<br \/>\n<a href=\"files\/20090128124325.jpeg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/20090128124325.jpeg\" width=\"315\" height=\"420\" alt=\"\"><\/a><br \/>\ni ordered the 10oz. steak plate with potato salad and french fries.  oh my gosh&#8230;.  so good&#8230;.<br \/>\n<a href=\"files\/20090128124407.jpeg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/20090128124407.jpeg\" width=\"315\" height=\"420\" alt=\"\"><\/a><br \/>\ntakahashi-san cracks me up.  no matter where we are, we&#8217;re going to have fun&#8230;  and i mean a lot of fun&#8230;.  i&#8217;m getting ready for dinner now and i have a feeling that we are all going to wake up with headaches tomorrow morning.  but it&#8217;s all good&#8230;.<br \/>\n**i just got an email from don king.  he sent me a video clip of myself getting barreled at backdoor like 10 years ago.  don king is the best water videographer in the world and everybody knows that.  so when i opened up the file, i was pretty dam excited.  and after i watched it, i almost pissed in my pants.  after all, nothing in surfing beats getting a stand up barrel at backdoor.  nothing!!!!  thanks so much don king!!  you made me so happy!!!   i&#8217;m going to hold my drink up high tonight&#8230;  cheers&#8230;.[:?????????:][:?????????:]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>good chilly evening. gosh, is this hawaii or what?
