Getting out is tricky because of the strong wind blowing into your eyes. \u00a0The current is different, and you have to go through 40 waves each time you paddle back out. \u00a0Nobody said it was easy.![\"\"](\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/GPTempDownload-159-800x450.jpg\")

I’ve always loved days like this. \u00a0You feel so much more connected to the ocean. \u00a0We were having a great time. \u00a0Then I see this boat with a lot of people trying to go out through the channel. \u00a0I told the girls to watch because boats shouldn’t be out on days like this. \u00a0They try to go out, turn around, and when they were heading back in, a wave flipped over their boat. \u00a0All 7 of them went flying off the boat. \u00a0OMG! \u00a0 ![\"\"](\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/GPTempDownload-161-800x450.jpg\")

When we got there, they were all hanging on to the bottom of their boat. \u00a0Little did they know, the wind and current was taking them right into the lineup. \u00a0An angry lineup with overhead waves was going to make things twice as bad for them. \u00a0The rest of the story later.<\/p>\n
