I just finished watching the 1997 Japanese drama called “Beach Boys” on Netflix. \u00a0Half way through the series, I was looking at this actor and he looked so familiar. \u00a0I knew who he was but my mind wasn’t processing it right. \u00a0Then I remembered!!! \u00a0OMG, that is Hayato’s dad! \u00a0Mr. Mike Maki! \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

This drama was filmed almost 30 years ago and it was around the same time I met Hayato. \u00a0I also met Hayato’s dad back then and now I can see a clear resemblance. \u00a0 OMG, I had chicken skin. \u00a0That was a cool drama. \u00a0You should watch it because that was at a time before technology messed up our world. \u00a0Back then it was just about family, friends, culture, and surfing! \u00a0It brought back some of the best memories of my life. \u00a0Summer in Japan in the 1990’s was the very best of the best! \u00a0And if you experienced it, you will know what I’m talking about. \u00a0Beach houses, cold beers in the hot sun, crazy firework shows, surfing, barbecues, and FREEDOM!!! \u00a0No social media back then so nobody cared what you did. \u00a0You just be yourself which was super cool!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
