Round 1: \u00a0We paddled out super early this morning. \u00a0It was still dark so you can’t even see Nakahodo-san and Kamobayashi-san in this photo, but they are there.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Three days of intense Boot Camp and Kamobayashi-san is going home a stronger man. \u00a0And a surfer!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The waves were very challenging today but when you have the proper technique, surfing is pretty simple. \u00a0So stoked!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Round 2: \u00a0I saw Nakahodo-san ride so many fun waves at Bowls this morning. \u00a0It was just him and Rocky out so they were taking turns on the sets. \u00a0I was watching from the inside and was very proud of them. \u00a0Not too many people can surf onshore waves like that but they were ripping it. \u00a0This afternoon, we decided to surf a smaller and cleaner wave. \u00a0Look how beautiful it was! \u00a0So much easier after all the crazy surf we’ve been surfing lately. \u00a0Can you believe I surfed 14 rounds this year? \u00a0Yes, I surfed 14 rounds at 8 different surf spots in the first 8 days of January. \u00a0That’s crazy!!! \u00a0I guess you can call this a great year so far!<\/p>\n

I watched Laleo Kinimaka foil some nice swells and it made me want to foil again. \u00a0Hopefully very soon!<\/p>\n

On the way back home, we saw the boys washing off the boat so we pulled over at the harbor. \u00a0They opened the cooler and there were 2 big marlins in it. \u00a0OMG!<\/p>\n
