Just a few days ago, this sailboat got pushed into the reef at Rockpiles. \u00a0It’s been sitting there for 5 days and nobody came to take it out of the ocean. \u00a0It looks like it’s still in good shape right? \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

This morning we went to look at it. \u00a0OMG, look what the waves and reef did to it! \u00a0The story is a 24 year old girl just bought the sailboat and took it out for a test run. \u00a0First, nobody should have been out on that day. \u00a0Second, she was sailing way to close to the waves. \u00a0Third, once she lost control, she should have thrown out the anchor to stop it from going on the reef. \u00a0BUT, she didn’t.<\/p>\n

And this is what happens when you’re inexperienced and panic. \u00a0Jeannie Chesser posted a video that Alan took of the damaged reef. \u00a0It was very sad to see. \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

We paddled out to see if the sailboat ruined the surf break. \u00a0Other than a trail of broken reef, the surf was the same. \u00a0Mighty Mouse loving the clean water and warm weather.\"\"<\/p>\n

Rocky’s wave knowledge is very high level. \u00a0She knows how to read the waves, currents, winds, swell direction, and which board to use for any given day. \u00a0That’s talent. \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

It was just the 2 girls and I enjoying this fun wave today. \u00a0After all those crazy days of intense Boot Camp, today was like Disneyland.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
