Bowls was super small this morning so we drove over to the other side of the island. \u00a0Look what we found! \u00a0Head high waves and nobody out! \u00a0Mighty Mouse caught a lot of good waves this morning.<\/p>\n

Photos from the last time we went diving and came across this big black spot in the ocean. \u00a0Turned out to be a big bait ball!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We jumped in and watched nature work its magic. \u00a0Small fish, big fish, and sharks love bait balls like this.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

A very rare occurrence in Waikiki. \u00a0Lucky if we even experience something like this out there again in our lifetime.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

New signs were put up at Diamond Head. \u00a0People put a lot of stickers on signs and block out the message so this one had a special place for stickers. \u00a0The red sign below read “place stickers here and not on the above signage.” \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

Shame on the person who put that sticker on the sign above. \u00a0That’s so disrespectful!<\/p>\n

I’ve been teaching the girls about the ocean. \u00a0I don’t want them getting too comfortable at any time. \u00a0The ocean can be calm one minute, and wild the next. \u00a0So we try different things. \u00a0Practice free diving, bodysurfing Sandy’s shore break, swimming with sharks, jumping off cliffs, and walking on the rock wall at Bowls. \u00a0This day, we went to the wildest spot on the East side and practiced jumping into rough waves smashing on the rocks. \u00a0Cuts, bruises, and sea urchins in your feet. \u00a0This is the only way to understand the ocean. \u00a0Hands on experience!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
