The ocean is big, the ocean is wild, and the ocean is unpredictable so something can go wrong very quickly. \u00a0I always tell the girls that they will someday be needed and when that time comes, they better be prepared. \u00a0We practice a lot on being vigilant and we talk about reacting in different situations. \u00a0It was just another ordinary day as we went surfing on the boat. \u00a0This day turned out not to be that ordinary.<\/p>\n

We were in the boat and could hear screaming from a far distance away. \u00a0I see 2 girls on a small boat trying to get our attention. \u00a0I thought they were playing but the panic in their screams said something was terribly wrong. \u00a0I get out my binoculars and see the girls yelling “help! help!” \u00a0I speed towards them and noticed a guy laying on his back splashing like he was going to drown. \u00a0He was trying to fight the strong current and panicked. \u00a0He was in total shock mode and looked like he was on his last breath. \u00a0Rocky and Mighty Mouse got to him and safely transferred him back to their boat on their surfboards. \u00a0Imagine, some mother could have lost her son that day while his sisters watched helplessly. \u00a0Thankfully, the universe placed us at the right place at the right time that day.<\/p>\n

After that incident, the girls jumped in and caught a tako on their own. \u00a0Everybody went home happy that day.<\/p>\n
