Round 1: \u00a0Paddled out in the dark. \u00a0We were the first ones out at Bowls early this morning. \u00a0The waves were so good! \u00a0Big, challenging, strong current, and very powerful. \u00a0 I love days like today.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

When I came in, this was the parking. \u00a0Pretty empty. \u00a0This is how it is when the waves get big. \u00a0And when it gets small, it’s the opposite. \u00a0I went home to take a nap and get ready for round 2.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Round 2: \u00a0I was desperate to find a good wave this afternoon so I drove around and around. \u00a0Then I remembered a spot that breaks only when the south swell is over 6′. \u00a0Today was the perfect day for that. \u00a0Perfect point right and left and nobody except me, myself, and I. \u00a0This was probably my best session of the year so far. \u00a0The waves were so smooth that you can do anything you want on it.<\/p>\n

I rode my smallest shortboard this morning and afternoon. \u00a0I just wanted to connect and feel the wave more. \u00a0It cut like a knife in butter. \u00a0Tomorrow the swell is getting even bigger with another giant swell next week. \u00a0This summer is becoming to be GREAT!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
