It’s amazing what you will see in the ocean. \u00a0Everyday is different so you have to be prepared when something huge pops up right on the side of you. \u00a0This Hawaiian Monk seal was pretty big and intimidating. \u00a0We made eye to eye contact for 3 seconds and he decided to dive back down. \u00a0I froze and thought to myself “please don’t bite me.”<\/p>\n

By making eye contact, it feels like a connection. \u00a0You just have to keep calm and everything will be fine.<\/p>\n

We go outside of Waikiki and just randomly anchor the boat for a free dive. \u00a0Little did we know, we anchored right above a huge school of fish. \u00a0I didn’t know until I put on my mask and saw thousands of akule right under us. \u00a0It stayed there the whole time. \"\"<\/p>\n

The whole time we were diving into the bait ball, I was thinking how delicious these fish are. \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

I should have brought my fishing pole! \u00a0You don’t see this very often. \u00a0In fact, this was my first time seeing a school of akule like this. \u00a0You just never know what the ocean will show you. \u00a0That’s why I love it so much…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
