Round 1: \u00a0Today was a great day to take the kids to the pool for free dive training. \u00a0They were so excited and so was I. \u00a0Like anything else, equipment is the most important. \u00a0I make sure my students have the best gear. \u00a0Have you ever snorkeled with a foggy mask that leaks water? \u00a0It’s a nightmare. \u00a0So starting off with good equipment is the key to make it fun. \u00a0The more fun it is, the better the kids perform. \u00a0 ![\"\"](\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/image-8-scaled.jpeg\")

Between each dive, we talk about proper technique. \u00a0How to move your arms and legs with flow. \u00a0How to clear the snorkel of water. \u00a0And how to keep calm. \u00a0The best is to teach this in a pool because there are less distractions than the ocean. \u00a0No currents, no waves, no jellyfish, and no sharks to worry about. \u00a0![\"\"](\"https:\/\/go-naminori.com\/kirbyfukunaga\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/GPTempDownload-47-scaled.jpg\")
