good evening. what a fun day it was. got up early, went to backdoor and caught a few good waves. it was 4-5′ with 6′ sets and not too many surfers out. was stoked to surf with my 3 nephews out there. drove 100mph back to town, locked myself in my house, turned off my phone, shut down my computer, and started to do my TAXES!!! I HATE TAXES!!! but as much as i hate it, i like my freedom and if i don’t do it like 25% of the american population, i will go to jail. no surf, no diving, and no champagne. haha. give me 3 more days and i should almost be half way done. but other than that, today was such a beautiful day here in hawaii!

\nsometimes i really wonder on how our state does business here in hawaii. i see things all the time that doesn’t make sense. take bowls parking lot for example. they had “no parking” signs up for a few days. i was there all day on 2\/6\/12 and didn’t see anybody come, or any work done. why would they want to close the parking in the middle of the day? i had to park my car on the opposite side and was just wondering. come to find out, they painted the lines again 3 days later???

\nno, i’m not complaining. i’m just wondering why some things in hawaii are so mis-managed. i’ve seen roads blocked off for days with no work being done. i know we live in hawaii and this is hawaiian style, but when your stuck in traffic, or restricted from parking areas, it just makes you wonder???
