\nwhen i got an email this morning from matsu with 3 words (Please watch
\nthis) and a link, i knew it was important. i clicked on it and after the
\nfirst 10 seconds, felt like i was reliving our missions. we were there
\nin most of these areas, seen the elementary schools that were
\ndevastated, been to the evacuation zone, met the victims, and heard a
\nlot of heartbreaking stories. in front of the people, we keep strong.
\nbut in front of my computer watching this, i broke down. all the empty
\nfeelings came back, all the horrifying images came back, and all the
\nemotions that were being held in no longer could. it’s the stories from
\nthe innocent kids. they are so pure and didn’t deserve what happened.
\nbut to see some of these kids with such positive attitudes and such
\nstrong hearts, makes me happy. there are families still searching for
\ntheir loved ones, there are families still living in temporary housing,
\nthere are families still trying to move forward, and there are families
\nthat are stronger than ever. it’s these families that make me want to
\nkeep going back and back to show our support. our team is still thinking
\nabout the people in tohoku, and our team is looking forward to going
\nthere in april.
\nplease take the time to watch this documentary that was well put
\ntogether by the BBC. next week will make 1 year since the tragedy and as
\nthings are getting better, it’s still far from over. thank you for your
