good evening. it’s getting late and i still haven’t started packing yet. 18 days isn’t too bad so an hour will do. as long as i don’t forget my passport, i’ll be ok. going to be a late night for me but i have 2 long flights so i’ll be sitting back sipping on a beer watching movies, reading a book, and sleeping… gotta get going…
\ntraveling gives me motivation, resets my mind, and makes me appreciate everything i have. the experiences, meeting people, and just having fun is what it’s all about. not too long ago, i was invited to yet another voyage into unchartered waters. a voyage that will put another chapter in my book. i don’t have too many details but all i know is that i’ll be boarding a 9 hour flight to narita, 2 hour transit, then board a 8 hour flight to jakarta, sleep in the airport hotel, then jump on the early morning flight to padang, then jump on this……

\nyes, the sanssouci2 again!!! we’re going to someplace different that will take us 20 hours to get too. let the party begin!!! come tuesday morning, i will be waking up to indo barrels, diving in the afternoon for sashimi, drinking bintangs watching the sunset, and doing it all over every day again…. i haven’t had the time to think about this trip because i’ve been so busy but now that i think about it, i’m pretty excited!!!

\nand what makes it even better is…. i’m going with 3 of my sponsors that i’ve known for over 17 years. starting from left to right. i met ishino-san (OWNER OF BARRELS WATER SPORTS)<\/a> in shikoku back in 1992 catching barrels at a secret river mouth together. now he’s my surf shop sponsor that supports me for what i love to do. next is tokura-san (OWNER OF DOVE WETSUITS)<\/a> who i owe my life to for making my dreams come true. next is akazawa-san (OWNER OF SPICE CLOTHING)<\/a> that has taken care of me ever since spice started. a designer, creator, with a lot of drive. i took this photo 2 years ago at the tssc party in shikoku. all my sponsors are family to me. if it wasn’t for them, i wouldn’t be the happy guy i am……
