it will be 11 days for us on the boat. there will be waves on the first
\nweek, and now i’m looking at the second week. see that big red storm on
\nthe bottom left? that will send huge waves to mentawai but i’m not sure
\nif it will reach us in time. if it does, great. if it doesn’t, it’s
\nok. just so long we all enjoy ourselves.
\nwell, because bali is one hour before japan time, i woke up at 2am this
\nmorning instead of 3. it’s such a weird feeling. i’m tweaking out in
\nmy room playing around with my surfboards and stuff. i guess it’s good
\nbecause i have to wax it up. then i walked outside to check the waves.
\nas soon as i felt the onshore winds, i knew that i have to go to the
\nother side. maybe uluwatu? i didn’t rent a scooter yet so have to wait
\ntill it opens. gosh, i wish i had one right now. i would be the first
\nguy out at uluwatu today. shucks! i should just walk there? but i
\nhate walking.
\nhad a good flight here. garuda airlines is getting much better than
\nbefore. 15 years ago, every time i boarded a garuda airplane, i thought
\ni was going to die. the planes use to be old, rusting, and just in bad
\nshape. and a plane crash was common. now, they have all new planes and
\nit feels much safer.
\nyes, i’m here again at the best dam hotel in bali, and possibly in the
\nworld. my deluxe suite overlooks the whole nusa dua side. cool winds,
\nhuge pool, good food, and excellent service.
\nwell, i’m looking at the clock now and it’s 4:27am. yeah! soon it’s
\nmorning! going to jump in the water, get a massage, change some money,
\neat street food, and soak in the pool this evening. have a wonderful
\nday, night, or morning where ever you are!<\/p>\n
